A community of service

Supporting socially and geographically isolated communities

We support people and communities, particularly those experiencing disadvantage and exclusion in rural Australia. We do this through our annual small grants and longer term programs where we partner with local community organisations to build stronger communities.

Our exciting new initiative up and running

On the 10th of March 2020 we launched “Seeds of Connection” our program in Roma with Megan Brown of Chandra Yoga and Well Being to build community and support those on the margins.

Within a couple of weeks the world had changed and Megan has since been busy adapting her programs to work within Covid 19 restrictions during this global pandemic.  As more needs arise in the community due to these constrained times, Seeds of Connection is responding when and where we can.

OUR Annual Small GRANTS

Building stronger communities

Each year we run an annual small grants program offering grants of up to $3,000 to address disadvantage and exclusion within local towns and communities, especially in rural Australia. We always receive many more applications than we can fund.

This year due to the golbal pandemic we have re-assessed all grant applications, as to their capacity to carry out their project whilst complying with Covid 19 restrictions, and we will be announcing successful grants later in May 2020.

Find out how and when to apply by clicking here or you may wish to donate and help grow stronger communities.
